The two-story Building 31.5 is a cellarless solid construction which is located on the south-western side of the Max Delbrück Center campus in Berlin-Buch. It was attached to the existing neighbouring building 31.4 as a freestanding building.
The translucent facade, consisting of printed industrial glass elements, appears on both parts of the building, helping it to combine it’s multiple uses into one unit, projecting a clear and calm appearance. (Facade planning by GKL, Berlin).
