The research building planned in Oberschleißheim near Munich contains the chairs of anatomy and pathology of the veterinary faculty of the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. For these institutes, in addition to office space and laboratories (S2) with CORE areas, large student areas with special areas for teaching as well as special lecture halls that are used across departments are to be built.
The building is characterized by a uniform shell of clinker bricks in light, warm gray tones, accentuated by differently designed surfaces of the clinker material and the two-storey fully glazed foyer.
